Stefie Ribeiro, O.D.
With more than 15 years of experience as an eye care professional Dr. Ribeiro brings to the practice an unparalleled commitment to patient care & service. Her vast knowledge in treatment and diagnosis of key ocular health issues prevalent in the population of the Coachella Valley has been demonstrated & expanded working along side some of the Coachella Valley's most respected and tenured MD's. Additionally her academic record and background includes a residency program with completion of specialized care in primary eye care and ocular disease, at the US Department of Veterans Affairs hospitals and clinics in the New York Area. She has been published in the Optometry Journal of American Optometry Association for her work on utilization of optical coherence tomography in the diagnosis of iris tumors. She has completed research on bilateral optic neuropathies at the American Academy of Optometry and is an Alumni of the SUNY College of Optometry and Cornell University.
CALVIN SUN, O.D.
Dr. Sun comes to us from Illinois College of Optometry where he completed his Doctorate of Optometry. He is a California native, born and raised in Cerritos and Alumni of UC Berkeley, where he earned his undergraduate degree with a BS in Integrative Biology. As a recent graduate, Dr Sun is excited to provide insight into the latest technological advancements in eye care, and is dedicated to providing excellence in healthcare for his patients. He is returning to the Southern California sun following externships and rotations including a focus in Primary Care and Pediatrics, as well as rotation at M Health Fairview University of Minnesota Medical Center, where he focused on Ocular Disease and Low Vision. Dr. Sun is California Board of Optometry licensed with TLG certification and a member of the COA and AOA.
